Experience
Mr. Michael L. Foth joined the Hawkins, Ash, Baptie & Company, LLP accounting and audit staff in January 1989, and has specialized in governmental auditing and accounting since 1982. A partner, he has done extensive work on the audits of governmental entities, school districts, and federal and state programs. He also has technical college and CESA audit experience.
Mr. Foth is currently in-charge of the firm's governmental accounting and auditing department and has also served several types of commercial and nonprofit clients.
Education
Mr. Foth attended the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, graduating in 1981 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. He has been a Certified Public Accountant in Wisconsin since 1986. Relevant continuing professional education courses taken over the last three years include seminars on performing Single Audits, the Annual Governmental Audit and Accounting Update, School District Update, the AICPA National Governmental Accounting and Auditing Conference, and GASB No. 34 Implementation.

Mr. Foth is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Governmental Finance Officers Association and the Wisconsin Municipal Clerks Association and the WICPA Governmental Committee.
